Background
A Datalink customer since 1999, TVSA is a flight school operating out of Bacchus Marsh and Moorabbin airports in Victoria.
TVSA placed a high amount of emphasis on their website being able to reach a worldwide audience with a primary focus was to promote flying as a desirable activity.
Solution
Datalink used Flash and Real Player to make the site design interesing and fun. A combination of Internet video and multimedia sounds and animation conveys the aeronautical theme.
Banner advertising and clever search engine techniques were used effectively so that the TVSA site receive hits of more than 2,000 visits a day from all over the world. A large percentage of TVSA students first found the school directly through the website.
An email newsletter allows TVSA to keep in touch with prospective students over the Internet.
An interactive online forum enables students to chat online.
The TVSA website was featured in an Ernst & Young E-Commerce Roadshow case study for Multimedia Victoria.
