Innovate 2008

Background

Innovate 2008 is an initiative of the City of Stonnington to involve their staff in creative thought to provide ideas for improving the management of the organisation.
The City of Stonnington an Intranet website that would be featured on the council's staff Intranet to form a centrepiece for the the campaign.

Solution

Datalink implemented a design template to differentiate it from the main Intranet site and extended the content management facilities available  to the new sub-site.
Staff are able to submit ideas through an innovative "blog" style noticeboard system, others can submit comments and managers are notified by email as new ideas are submitted.
