Thisis a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Web Application Developerto work as a senior member in our service delivery team to create and evolve online solutions for our clients.
This senior role will utilise and extend your full range of web skills from programming through to analysis, consulting and solution design. You will use your broad skills as a senior member in our multi-disciplined service delivery team to design and deliver outstanding web solutions andservices to our customers.
Your passion for the web will drive you to constantly discover and learn the latest techniques and technologies for web-based software development, and this position will provide the avenue to apply them in a professional context.
Youwill be an exceptional web programmer with at least 5 years professional experience in object-oriented PHP. In addition, you will also have knowledge and experience with the higher-level skills of software development including usability, analysis, technical design and specification development.
Your well-rounded experience will enable you to take a lead role providing technical consulting, analysis and specification development in addition to programming and maintenance, plus be involved in the ongoing evolution of Datalink’s processes, standards, techniques and knowledge.
The successful applicant must possess and demonstrate:
*Exceptional web programming skills with 5+ years professional experience (PHP, Javascript, AJAX, HTML/CSS, SQL, SOAP, XML, web standards)
* Excellent technical analysis and design skills (OOP, UML, ER, IA, MVC)
* Proven experience with web-based usability, information architecture and user interface design concepts and practices.
* Experience with Apache, CVS, SSH, etc
* Good communicator with a knack of explaining technical things to non-technical people.
* A professional attitude and approach to your work
