Wyndham City Council launches "What's On Wyndham" interactive calendar

The Wyndham City Council has launched a new events system that is not your everyday calendar.

The new events system enables Wyndham residents to view an online calendar of events and subscribe to email updates and the system handles recurring, daily, weekly or monthly events. 

Probably the most innovative feature of the system, however, is the ability for it to generate both printable and PDF calendars automatically.  This can be sent as an email attachment or to the printers, complete with personalised messages to each resident.  This saves the Visitor Services department of the council plenty of time in distributing events calendar to residents.

The calendar system is an add-on to the Freestyler content management system.

Datalink's Bradley Hogan built the calendar application with project management from Sean Fishlock.
