TADVIC to redevelop website
Technical Aid to the Disabled is a non-profit organisation that helps fill a niche by constructing or modify equipment that is not commercially available for people with disabilities.
The Victorian TAD (TADVIC) is part of the Royal Talbot Rehabilitation Centre in Kew, Melbourne. Funded by private donation and the Department of Human Services.
Over several years, the existing TADVIC website has deteriorated to a point where it is no longer accessible to disabled users and it has become difficult for the organisation to manage without technical assistance. The website does not currently effectively showcase the organisation's work and full range of services. Key components of the redevelopment project are to comply with W3C levels of accessibility, to optimise the site's navigation and content structure and to implement a content management system to free up resources and reduce costs.
One of the key factors in TADVIC's selection of the Datalink tender was experience in developing highly usable and accessible websites as well as the ease of use of the Freestyler content management system.
We look forward to working with the TADVIC project team on the new website.
