Refreshed website for Plan Australia launched
22 May 2009
Plan Australia launched a "re-skinned" website this week.
Datalink and Plan co-ordinated a refreshed look for the Plan Australia website which uses Freestyler CMS as its enterprise content editing environment.
The new site sports a range of Web2.0 style navigation features, rich in Flash and AJAX technology to make the site snappier for users as well as integrating with a wide range of social networking services like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and YouTube and Delicious.
A brand new interactive map shows summary information on Plan's important projects worldwide.
The new look extends to the interactive MyPlan section.
A superfooter provides links to the important sections of the site and a basis for search engine optimisation.

Datalink's Kevin Drew was responsible for much of the programming work for the project with project management provided by Scott Davey.
