Online Athlete Tipping System Launched

We've just launched an innovative athlete tipping system for Athletics Australia and here's a quick rundown on why we think it is special. 

Strategically this application was aimed at increasing involvement and is a fun and interactive tipping competition which allows anyone to register and create a profile.  Once registered users can access tipping selections for athletics events, predicting Gold, Silver and Bronze medals and indicates which events you have and haven't already tipped.  The site automatically generates a running score, percentage and leaderboard of all users.

We began building the application in March and it was completed in April.  The project involved building a back-end admin interface using the Bravo framework which allows competitions and events to be managed including adding events and cut-offs for tipping, downloading and exporting statistics.  Additionally the system is integrated into Clubs Online and Hy-Tek.
