City of Maroondah to get Youth Portal website
26 June 2009
The City of Maroondah is the latest local council to sign up for Datalink's Youth Portal.
The city (formerly the cities of Doncaster and Templestowe) is located in Melbourne's eastern fringe, nestled at the foothills of Mount Dandenong and situated adjacent to the Shire of Yarra Ranges (where another Youth Portal site services locals). The city has a population of around 100,000 and many young people and some of the schools there include Maroondah Secondary, Parkwood Secondary, Ringwood Secondary, Heathmont College, Croydon Secondary, Norwood Secondary and Aquinas College.
The website has all the interactive features of a Youth Portal website and will achieve Level AA of Accessibility as well as being designed to be viewable on mobile phones.
Datalink very much looks forward to working with the City of Maroondah so stay tuned for more.
