Redesigned MFB website uses Datalink Freestyler CMS

MFB, a company that designs and manufactures data cabinets, enclosures and consoles for the IT industry is the latest Freestyler CMS site to hit the web.


The site was designed by 765 Brand Communications and uses Datalink's Freestyler 5.0 CMS to enable editors to manage the content.  765 became an approved Freestyler designer in early 2007.


With a large product catalogue, the website is a complex one which shows off some of Freestyler's new features:
  • Google Maps integration
  • Online Enquiry Form (using Freestyler Forms)
  • Online Order Form (using Freestyler Forms)
  • Interactive Image Gallery
  • Dynamic fly-out menus
  • Product Catalogue
  • Automatic Image Resizing and Real-time image manipulation
  • Search
  • Sitemap
Thesite has both Flash and HTML versions of the product catalogue usingautomatic browser detection to determine which version to use.  Thesite also makes use of many of Freestyler's native search enginefriendly and new search engine optimisation (SEO) features.  Theproduct catalogue features custom templates including a system fordisplaying swatches, optional accessories and file downloads such asbrochures and spec sheets for each product. 

As well as the use of Datalink's CMS, Datalink provided some programming support services to 765.
