PHP4 End of Life

With the announcement of PHP4's end of life earlier this year, Datalink had to make some decisions about how this would effect our customers and the support of their web solutions.

PHP is Datalink's chosen platform for many of our web applications as it is cross platform and works with both Windows and Linux servers.  PHP 5 adds many new features which can power the next generation of websites.

We are pleased to announce that both Freestyler 5.1 and Concord 2.2 now fully support PHP5.

To maintain high security, we will continue to support earlier versions of Freestyler on our Lithio service only until May 2008 to minimise any disruption to services.  In the meantime, we would strongly advise our customers to look toward upgrading their solutions and versions of Freestyler and Concord.  Patches for earlier versions of the software are also available for customers on maintenance and support plans.
